Dipl.- Ing. Josef Reisel - founder and managing director

has been active nationally and internationally in the energy sector since 1990 and has acquired extensive experience and know-how with plants powered by fossil and renewable energy sources. The wide range of his responsibilities in the course of his career included project development, plant construction, operation, maintenance and service. Mr. Reisel held leading positions at the following companies in the energy sector: 

- AEE Austrian Energy 

- ALSTOM Austria GmbH 

- ALSTOM Renewable Austria GmbH 

- Babcock Borsig Power 

- APPA Consult GmbH 

Since 2011 he has been Vice President of the World Energy Council (WEC) Austria. The WEC Austria is the Austrian representative of the WORLD ENERGY COUNCIL, a worldwide international organization founded in 1923. It is the goal of the WEC Austria to ensure a secure, resource-saving, economical, environmentally and socially acceptable energy supply with Austria as partner in an international environment. WEC Austria offers trend-setting expertise and insight into the energy industry and energy strategy. 

Mr Reisel is a founding member of the Austrian Fenco Initiative (AFI) – an association and technology platform for clean fossil fuels. From 2008 to 2015 he was on the Executive Board of AFI and since 2015 he is a member of the Advisory Board.
